Rooms for participants of ODSA 2006 have been reserved by the conference organizers in two hotels: Intercity Hotel Rostock and Ibis Hotel Rostock. Please, note that Rostock is a major tourist destination. Therefore, we strongly recommend early booking to be on the safe side.

The Intercity Hotel (English, German) is located at the main train station of Rostock and is about 100m away from the place where the conference office is located on Sunday evening (Sept. 3). The conference venue (Monday to Wednesday, Ulmenstr.) can easily be reached by the public transport system (3min by train, 15min by tram). Note that booking a room at the Intercity Hotel includes free local public transport. We reserved rooms for a discount rate of 65 Euro for a single room, or 76 Euro for a double room (booking at least one month in advance, subject to availability). Please refer to "ODSA" if you want to book at this special rate. If you book very early you might be able to get a better offer. Please, have a look at the web pages of the hotel.

The other hotel which we recommend is the Ibis Hotel Rostock (English, German). It is located in walking distance (approximately 10min) of Ulmenstr. A single room with breakfast costs 63 Euro per night (double room: plus 15 Euro).

Both hotels are 10-15min walking distance away from the city center. For those who want to book a room on their own, maybe directly in the city center, we provide a list of all hotels in Rostock. Note that some of these hotels are located in Warnemünde, the beach resort of Rostock. A nice place to stay but it takes at least 30 min to go by train/car to Ulmenstr.
