Abstract:
In this paper, we present new results concerning α-theory for the Hald method to approximate a zero of an analytic function defined on Banach spaces. Hald’s method is convenient since there is a quadratic convergence towards the zero and the calculation of the inverse of the operator is not required. We also present a numerical experiment to illustrate our results to solve a classical Fredholm integral equation.
